Anakin's Trails was founded after a life-changing journey to rescue a beloved family dog, Anakin, who went missing for 29 days. What started as a frantic search by his owners quickly turned into a remarkable community effort, with friends, family, and even strangers joining together to help bring him home. During this time, the team learned invaluable lessons about "Lost Dog Syndrome," which taught them that frightened animals can even see their owners as predators. After countless hours of searching, setting traps, and following leads, Anakin was finally rescued, thanks to the dedication of volunteers and the unwavering support of the community.

This experience led to the creation of a women-led, registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to rescuing lost and stray animals. Anakin's Trails is driven by teamwork, compassion, and the belief that no family or pet should have to face these struggles alone. Through a network of support and proven tactics, the team at Anakin's Trails works tirelessly to ensure that lost animals find their way home, and strays are given a chance at a better life. Today, they continue their mission, helping both pets and their owners navigate the challenges of separation, offering hope and a helping hand to those in need.
