Rhonda has been a dedicated member of Anakin’s Trails since its inception, contributing her time, skills, and compassion to the organization. She and her husband, Mike, are active in their community, serving as board members for another nonprofit organization and enjoying time together riding motorcycles. When they’re not volunteering, they love spending time with their children and grandchildren on their farm in the southern part of the Upstate.

As proud members of the “Southern Sisters” team, Rhonda and Mike are deeply involved in Anakin’s Trails. They are the proud owners of River, a once-feral dog rescued after a remarkable four-month effort by the organization. River’s capture stands as the longest rescue mission in Anakin’s Trails history, demonstrating the team’s unwavering dedication.

Rhonda’s contributions to the organization include trapping, trap holding, baiting, and trap retrieval. Meanwhile, Mike supports as both a trap holder and a valued security team member, ensuring the safety and success of operations. Together, they embody the mission and spirit of Anakin’s Trails, making a lasting impact on the lives of animals and their community.
