April is the passionate Co-Founder, Co-Director, and Vice President of Anakin’s Trails. Working closely with Ashley and her family, April played a pivotal role in establishing the organization and was present for the incredible moment when Anakin was rescued. Her deep compassion for animals shines through in her role as the proud caretaker of an Anakin’s Trails rescue pup, along with three other foster pups still awaiting their forever homes.

Widely recognized for her extraordinary dedication, April has personally rescued and provided loving homes to more animals through Anakin’s Trails than anyone else. Her ability to nurture and rehabilitate these animals ensures they receive the best lives imaginable.

In addition to her professional career, April enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and their lively pack of seven dogs. Her hands-on work with the organization includes trapping, retrieving traps, baiting, holding supplies, and spreading awareness by hanging flyers. April’s unwavering commitment continues to make a profound impact on both animals and the community Anakin’s Trails serves.
